Yamaha YZR M1 focusing preparing a ready ridden by Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales in 2017. MotoGP test on the bike was already done in two occasions the trial.
The second occasion was obtained when Yamaha decided to hold a closed trial at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia. Although the record time of two main drivers of Yamaha not disclosed, many believe the results are very satisfying.
That's what makes The Doctor more confident to face the competition in MotoGP in 2017. Rossi also more confident to achieve the best performance.
"The current situation is much better. We are working on the new bike. It seems that this motor has a greater potential than we used in 2016," Rossi said as quoted by Motorsport.
Previously, the 37-year-old driver also predicts that competition will take place in the next season. According to him, he would still be a candidate winning world titles with Marc Marquez Repsol Honda, and Jorge Lorenzo, Ducati brand-new racer.
